Alicia Luttrell earned her Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of South Alabama with concentrations in voice and piano and her Master's Degree in education from Belhaven University. Mrs. Luttrell began her teaching career over 30 years ago as a private piano instructor. Mrs. Luttrell has taught children's and youth choirs for several local churches and has served as pianist and organist in churches for many years. Mrs. Luttrell is a National Board Certified Teacher (NBCT) and is a member of National Association for Music Education and Alabama Music Educators Association (elementary division president). Mrs. Luttrell and her husband have been married for 33 years and have five children.
